Romanian translation of his play Machiavelli: the art

ninth editions of his intro texts, Theatre and
Theatre: Brief Edition, McGraw-Hill, 2010
- Working
Together: Leadership and Collaboration in Theatre,
2010,a new book with Palgrave Macmillan.
DIRECTING
- Recent
and upcoming directing projects include:
- School
for Wives, 2008, Utah Shakespearean Festival
- Endgame,
2008, UC Irvine
- The
world premiere of Bryan Reynolds’ Eve’s Rapture,
2009, Hayworth Theatre Los Angeles
- The
premiere of a musical version of an updated medieval mystery
play in preparation for 2010.
OTHER
Activities
include:
- June
2009, attended and spoke at Grotowski Symposium, Wroclaw,
Poland
- October
2009, awarded the title of Professor Honoris Causa at the
University of Babes¸-Bolyai in Cluj, Romania
- November
2009, awarded the "Medal of Honor" by the Polish
Ministry of Culture.
- April,
2010, will present a paper on implications of his 1960 correspondence
with playwright Samuel Beckett at Northeast Modern Language
Association meetings in Montreal.
- 2010-11,
the Romanian premiere of his play, Machiavelli,
anticipated at the statetheatre of Arad, Romania.
