Cohen’s Acting One/Acting Two was published by McGraw-Hill
in February, 2007, and the revised eighth editions of his
Theatre and Theatre: Brief Edition, with over 130 new photographs,
appeared from the same publisher at the end of that same
year. The seventh edition of Cohen’s Acting Professionally,
now with James Calleri (President of Calleri Casting in
New York) added as co-author, will appear with Palgrave
Macmillan in early 2009..
Cohen’s
spring 2007 production of Bryan Reynolds’ new play,
Blue Shade, toured to Prague (Czech Republic), and then
Lodz, Legnica and Wroclaw, Poland after its Irvine opening,
and toured again to the National Romanian Theatre Festival
in Bucharest in November, coinciding with the launch of
his book, Acting Power, in Romanian. In summer
2008, Cohen will direct Molière’s School for
Wives at the Utah Shakespearean Festival.
